Description

Veganic Bura Sugar is the most preferred sugar for making Indian Mithais. It is sulphurless, has fine sandy texture and is used to make all traditional Indian sweetmeats (mithais). It is free flowing, lump-free and stays fresh for long periods. Bura Sugar may harden if not stored properly. Transfer contents from the pouch to an airtight container and keep in a cool and dry place. Never use a wet spoon to scoop out the sugar. Quick dissolving and made from sulphur-free sugar.

About this item

  • Boora or bura sugar is prepared from regular sugar.
  • Veganic Bura is ideal for making traditional Indian desserts such as Kheer, Ladoos, Halwa, etc.
  • This Bura doesn’t need any more mixing or grinding. Blends well with hot and cold beverages
  • It is used to make icing or frosting and other cake decorations.
  • It is often dusted onto baked goods to add a subtle sweetness and delicate decoration.
  • It is used in sweet goods as well as in delicate desserts such as mousse, meringue and sweet cream fillings.
  • Bura sugar is also known as demerara sugar. Since it’s light brown in colour and more granular than refined white sugar, the sugar is called bura (crushed). Just like white sugar, bura sugar too is made from sugarcane.
